Coldstones Cut is situated on the B6265 between Skipton and Pateley Bridge in the beautiful Nidderdale AONB

Coldstone Cut

Created by the artist Andrew Sabin, the Coldstones Cut is Yorkshire's latest and largest free visitor attraction. A massive construction which visitors can freely walk through and explore, standing at a height of 1375 feet above sea level, the sculpture overlooks the huge working Coldstones Quarry and offers spectacular views over the scenery of Nidderdale.

Parking is provided at the Toft Gate Lime Kiln car park from which the footpath climbs 40 metres over 500 metres up to the sculpture. Suitable footwear and clothing should be worn as the location is exposed to the elements and the weather can be harsh and change suddenly.
