Yorkshire Lavender at Terrington, is recognised as the area's leading, most popular, friendly and welcoming free attraction and is set in the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.


The award-winning gardens are a mixture of different styles including a Lavender Spiral, Mediterranean Garden, Sensory Garden and a Wildflower Meadow. In summer, the lavender with its stunning array of different colours, from white through a complete range of blues and lilacs to magnificent deep purples, along with the range of distinct and heady scents, is a wonderful experience.
Other attractions at Yorkshire Lavender include a Lavender Maze, Mirror Pond, Amphitheatre, Deer Park, Sculpture Park, hillside Snakes and Ladders and a Specialist Plant Nursery where you will find hundreds of varieties of lavender together with unusual varieties of herbs, perennials and grasses. There is also a Gift Shop and Tearoom serving homemade lavender scones.
